The design of this particular trumpet is rather unique as only a few were produced with a standard fixed leadpipe configuration. The workmanship and attention to fine detail is extraordinary as can be seen in the accompanying photos. This trumpet has a serial number in the mid-400’s range. This is one of the earliest instruments that Kanstul produced when he acquired the F Besson tools and dies from the Paris Factory in the early 1980’s and is very rare.
